  1. Now I see why the DT rep at a seminar was all over it to get people to sign up RIGHT THEN or we couldnt have 1 of his precious brochures! Sure, he wanted to get us before we could google it and find this. Glad I told him he could keep his brochure and his offer.

Facts revealed IF you find it cheaper EXACT same trip book on Rovia research for 7 days if you find the trip cheaper Rovia has a price guarantee refund your money and send you on the trip for free Find the brochure and sign up Everyone needs to save and you NEVER get JUST the same trip on the other sites you get SOOOO much more extras not ever given with the other trips. Get the fact before you make comments that are just not true.

  2. From what I understand, DT offers dozens and dozens of DreamTrips each year. I suspect you've picked out a few that weren't cheaper. And only an idiot would buy a trip without checking comps from other travel sources. I haven't been on a DreamTrip yet, but from friends who have gone on them, they've raved about them and how much they've saved.

  3. Yes, WorldVentures Reps have a long history of high pressure sales, for that very reason - they don't want you finding out the truth.

  4. Let me tell you one thing....this is not a high pressure sales business. I don't give a rip if someone joins us. If you have to beg them to join...you'll have to beg them to do something. YOU CAN'T PUSH A DEAD BEAR UP A TREE! As far as the dream trips, I can't imagine a dream trip rep. having a seminar. Mr. Anonymous you need to be sure to check out who you are listening to. Also, as for the dream trips...we have been on 2 - the $49.00 cruise to Cozmel and the $339.00 all-inclusive to Los Cabos. We were on that exact same cruise just 2
years ago for %550.00 I guess that wasn't much of a savings! The Rui Palace in Cabo was awesome. A $300.00 a day resort.

It's funny that the sales video says that the company is so interested in the happiness of the customers, and yet the reps or supporters here are so hostile and admit they don't care about dissatisfied customers ("not a blip on our radar" would be an example).

As someone who is a career Internet marketer, I spotted this sales page from a mile away. It's pretty stereotypical of video sales pages at the moment.

A few of my relatives are in WV, and have tried to recruit the rest of the family in this business. When I've asked how much money they make monthly, I am told its not about the money, it's social networking! I laugh and tell them that their Social Networking isn't going to pay their bills but I guess this is why they all live together In the same household. 30. "Stop your BS, even worldvultues themselves admit out of 200,000 members, only 180 made an income over the national poverty level." Firstly, I would like to say that they tell you "this a plan b" They ask you to not drop out of college, to not change your life plans, to not join if you aren't 100% sure about this. They never advertise this as a get rich quick scheme, they say its a nice way to make a few hundred dollars a month on the side. If you thought you could quit your job over a few hundred dollars, then shame on you. For everyone here bitching, do not join. For those who have joined and are still bitching, the contract is not binding, DROP OUT. You have to put in effort to see results. 1. Stop the smoke screen. You should make your money through the buying and selling of vacation packages. WV should pay you to market their packages. If you get a buyer for more than it costs WV who is supposedly supplying the product with their profit margin already included, you should keep the difference. No one should have to sign up 4 people at 150.00 upfront and an unspecified $ amount each month to be qualified to recieve "residual" income. Everybody needs to be upfront and read the recent changes to the WV and GTT guidelines. If the guidelines updated as of March 2011 are accurate then it makes it "illegal" to make "residual commissions" unless you sell a retail travel package each month. That means traveling from point A to point B with a valid sales receipt. A co-worker is telling me that all I need to do is refer four people to cough up $150.00 and pay an unspecified $ amount each month to make me rich. Where's the spread coming from? These guys need to work on Wall Street.

      Delete
    2. I wonder who wrote this comment simply because it is naive and ridiculous. How can u say what a COMPANY should pay someone to do? (WRONG ANSWER) you should keep the difference? do you know anything about sales. How much does a CAR DEALER make from a 20,000 dollar sale or a broker make from a 200,00 dollar flip? WV is not a charity its a business. It guarantees its members the lowest prices. it is more than recruiting four to get people rich even though there has been lucky people to hit residual income with only recruiting no more than "six". if you understood network marketing and sales you wouldnt have even made the comment about it being illegal to make residual commissions... GET THE FACTS dont just make ASSUMPTIONS

  36. Alright people, I'm living below the poverty level. I can't afford to feed myself let alone travel. I saw this opportunity on craigslist and was immedietly interested because my mother and my father before he passed loved to travel. I wanted to experience traveling with them and see the world as beautiful because honestly, when you can barely afford fast food, the world looks bleak and your future is comprised of nothing but false hopes and dreams. I wanted to do something good, wild, and expressive. However, I don't want to make a mistake by losing money I already know I don't have to travel to places I can't afford to enjoy. A drink in cancoon or better yet to have fun in cancoon for me could throw me under the poverty level. All I want is to make enough money to allow my mother to see the world with me, before she like my father passes before I can say goodbye. So basically I'm asking how did you make the money to afford a membership, to enjoy the trip to eat. It seems trivial but these are things I worry about everyday. How will I eat? Do I have enough money for this, this and oh can't forget that. I'd rather not drive myself further into debt gambling with a cards I've been dealt.

    ReplyDelete

    1. This is real and exciting. I was worried about the membership fee too, so after I got my package in the mail I did very little work and got 4 people signed up right away get 4 =pay no more, then after my Vegas United trip I signed up 2 more, so there for i get ALL my money back PLUS Bonus. I'm not out anything and gaining more !

      Delete
    2. if you can't afford to eat, you may need another job. If you asking people how they afford to join, most of us work. No you can't go on a vacation if you can't afford to eat. and by the way fast food cost more than going to the grocery store and cooking your food at home. what you save in cooking at home you could save it and get your membership, and as the other said, get 4 to join, and no monthly payment. But if you are so poor,( not trying to be rude) joining now may not be a good idea, because until you get 4 people to join you will have another monthly payment. I am a member, but you have to have your priorities in order. You can't buy anything extra if you don't have the money. Try selling on ebay old things you don't wear or use anymore, sell on yardsellr.com, it is free to list there and if you sell something, you get all your money for it. Is there anything you can make and sell, like food, or beaded jewelry, you have to find your talent and work it to your benefit that's where your extra money is waiting, or get a partime job at mcdonalds. you can't spend what you don't have. do you know people who are not broke, who travel? they will be the first people you target. Then people who want to travel but don't but they could afford to? you would go to them. But like i said, you can't buy what you don't have the money for.

  38. My aunt recently pitched this to me...NOT in a million years. Thankfully, I have a career that grants me the opportunity to take a trip no matter what the cost and I'm 32!! However, I'm a little disturbed by those that commented on what a great program this is and not a single one could spell or know the differences between "your" and "you're". Put that money towards a college degree people.

    1. Sweetheart. Kudos to you on your college degree. I have two. However, just because you have the money to spend, please answer why you would want to spend it IF you can get it so much cheaper? That's like standing at the register with a fist full of coupons and then trashing them only because you can "afford' it.
Surely your college educated self should know better.

    2. Clearly your 2 degrees still left you gullible. Like really now? The whole world would be rich if it was so easy to make money. Everyone would be travelling everywhere!! Opera would endorse World Ventures, so would Obama. we'd stop everything we're doing and join World Ventures, because its just so awesome.

  39. I have not joined WV yet, but I am about to. I also first thought it was a scam and have argued and researched with my cousin who is trying to get me to buy in. He then introduced me to the person who sold to him. That person has only been in for 3 months. He has personally signed up 16 people and he already has gotten the initial $500 bonus and now makes about $250 a week. This last weekend he took an all expense paid trip to Las Vegas to a convention for this company. I did not believe it until he pulled up his bank account and showed me the deposits. I was impressed but still not totally convinced of the long term. He then took me to meet a local veteran in this company. She has been involved for a year now. She sits at a local coffee shop and presents to people who show interest and also will come do in home presentations. She currently is at the marketing director level. She made close to 100,000 last year, she has a BMW that is paid for with the dreamcar bonus, and this is her only job.I did not take her word for it, she also opened up her account and showed proof of her income which is why she is so successful of signing people up because she shows the proof of what can happen. She has also personally been on a lot of the dreamtrips. Most of them free for her because of all the travel dollars she earns towards trips. Now I am not saying that everyone will have this outcome.Actually statistics are that only 3% will have success in network marketing. All I am saying is that this is legit and IS possible. This company is also backed by three major national travel regulation agencys. So is everyone going to get rich...no. Is it a scam...no. Does it take work to benefit.....yes! I am signing up this week! :)

  40. They have begun using Facebook in claim of "networking" to potential clients and recruits. When she initially contacted me, she wanted to set up a small business in Sweden. I currently live in Canada. When I mentioned this, she then changed up her pitch and was less than forward with what she was pitching. It took some coaxing, but it came out this was the MLM she was wanting to recruit for. Simply block and report them.

    1. Report "them" who? This was just a person using her "network" of FB friends to market her business. She just didn't want to ruin it because of the stigma out there. No scam there to report dude

  44. I just attended a presenation for the company. I must say, I must say I find this to be a great opportunity. I have been the type of person to research befire I jump into ANYTHING! I met a couple there who just received the brand new BMW BEAUTIFUL!, now I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer,. But certainly if nothing more than getting the Cheap trips to Fabulous places each year,.Im in! Especially because I know so many people who travel yearly, to have a few people sign up and possibly refer a few more people and so on?.. Come on $400.00 or less, I spend that in a weekend at the casino! SMH,. So for the nay sayers,. DO YOU! why try so hard to convince others to turn away from something that MIGHT benefit them? Then to go so far to discredit it, by doing time consuming research? You almost sound like a Woman scorned(male or female) funny though, never one time heard you mention JOINING and being BAMBOOZELD! perfect example of what not getting away on things such as vacations can create, angry MAD AT THE WORLD people. Hey but thanks for trying to prevent everyone who joins from ruining their lives.
As for Mr. Or Mrs. Educated,.please dont ever say that because you went to school,.got an education, and now have the rewards of a good job,.suggest you would pay (because you got it like that) full price for ANYTHING you can get half off! I guess while you were receiving that degree,. There were no classes being offered for common sense. If thats the case why not just JOIN because you have it to do? Why pick and choose when to apply your OBVIOUS superior intellect? THAT IS ALL! Now I do plan on joining as I stated previously,.and it may or may not turn out to be what Im hoping for,. But again if it indeed does not, ..I dont think I will have to sell the ranch!

  45. My 2c worth. I signed up with DreamTrips about a year ago - they were present in my company and this was being advertised as an employee perk. The sign on fee was waived but I have been paying the monthly fee for a year. When I signed up I was promised lots of communication about "special deal" trips and also told that I would be sent SMS texts for "Last minute" deals for which the savings are "incredible". In the past year I have received less than 6 emails and 1 SMS text - for trips that are really pathetic. When I looged on to the system to look for trips (several times) there were very few available and they were not that cheap). I have made my own arrangements (cheaper) twice in the past year.
I feel I have been ripped off and I have cancelled my subscription and complained to my companies HR department about why this was considered a "perk". Apparently I am not the only one to have complained. I am sure the gentleman who sold these subscriptions has made a lot of money from us and feels great about that, but for those of us who were duped (especially with the blessing of a multinational corporation) this has been very disappointing.

My advice - stay well away.

  47. Where does the revenue come from since they dont make money in those dreamtrip packages? It comes from the membership fees and the mthly subscriptions paid by members. Whatever you earn or gain comes from someone else loss. Remove the Dreamtrips website the whole business will still grow if more and more people join. The product/service is irrelevant since even if you dont use it, you have to pay your monthly subscriptions. Your subscriptions gets waive if you recruit 4 members. Everyone join this to try to breakeven in the first 60days and than try to recruit more members to enjoy "residual" income. Its a system that feeds on greed and stupidity. Nobody gives a shit about the dreamtrips or the so call cheapest rates because they dont even bother to verify! They are entice by the leaders residual incomes of thousands of dollars and the shiny BMW. At least in other MLM, you got some health supplements or toothpaste to use every month. With WV, you pay every month and you get NOTHING!!! Cheap deals and dreamtrips? DREAM ON!

    1. Actually, we offer more than just vacation. We get discounts on everyday expenses like hair cuts, resturants, oil changes, etc. Also, we have a dreamtrips life mall where I can get travel dollars on buying items at Walmart, Best Buy, Footlocker, Victoria Secert, Dicks Sporting Goods, etc.. If this is such a scam, why would the hell TOP COMPANIES partner up with World Ventures???? Please do your reach before listen to others people. I wise man told me to NOT to listen to ANYONE who is not living the life style that you want.

  49. i've been in sales since i was a kid. i've seen it in all forms...and esp all forms of MLM. i am extremely familiar with how the friendships and the family atmosphere of a company suck in new recruits. they back there lifestyle up with sense of entitlement to the good life and positive affirmations that fill them full of energy to do the task at hand...which many times includes being a pain to their family and friends by pitching yet another MLM scheme.
I have looked into WV...and i know people in it. Companies that are strong and have a legit product to sell dont have to rely on MLM
tactics. Most of the time that means there is not enough money in the biz plan to float anyones boat...so they have to add another
layer of income to suppliment that biz plan.

    1. all businesses are MLM's. manufacturer sells to wholesalers who sell to retailers or customer if they are a wholesale club. wholesaler sells to retailer who sells to end customer. mlm's get such a bad wrap because there have been some scams, but there are plenty of scams in all kinds of business. people selling replicas claiming to be the real thing. Just have to do the research, and be astute enough to not miss a good thing and not get into a bad thing and sometimes you may get duped and sometimes you may find a diamond. Not all MLM's are scams. I too have been fortunate enough to see the checks my uplines have gotten, see the bmws that my friends have gotten, so i have the proof in my face. i can see how it can be hard when you don't have tangible evidence.

  50. this is the costo or sams club of travel. no one complains about those places, you have to pay monthly to shop there and get the discounts there. WV works the same way. But with those wholesale clubs there is no way to end your monthly payments, no way at all to make anything even if it is a little earnings. No one complains they just go and buy their food. This is a wholesale travel club with perks that many other wholesale clubs don't have. What's the problem with that. If i don't go to costco i still have to pay my monthly fee, no one complains or calls them a scam. I don't understand all the negativity about WV. And all of you who say you can book cheaper, did you submit your claim to WV to get 150% back and still be sent on the trip free. i can get ketchup cheaper at stop%shop than i can at sam's club, but they don't give me any money back for it and they sure don't give me the ketchup for free.

  54. I've just sat through a 2 hour presentation that I was invited to, as soon as it started I think hmm pyramid/mlm scam, the presenter even logged into his "account" to show me his impressive earnings, thing is I could quite easily make a webpage that looks like a bank statement in minutes. throughout my adult life I've seen many of these presentations, and always seem too good to be true, and usually they are just that, too good to be true and the only ones making money are at the top of the tree which generally is kinda pyramid shaped. My problem is I just don't believe it, and I know that out of my circle of friends they are not gonna believe it either, are we all pessimists? Well maybe but then maybe we are just that little bit worldly wise to hand out our money for something that probably will not give a return. So I can't dip my hand into my pocket to give out 199 hard earned bucks because I'm pretty convinced thats the last I'll see of it

I'm sure glad you don't work for me because your outlook on life is all doom and gloom. If you dont like what you've got then go out and find something better. At least these people are attempting to better their lives by trying to help other better their lives. Quit biting because someone called you and asked you to look at something. That only means they cared enough about you to call you and at least offer you an option but most people are too blind to see that. Success never came in the form a 55" plasma tv sitting on your wall that you watch 6 hrs a day after work. The rest off us are out here starting new businesses and maybe start new networking businesses also. I just get sick of people complaining how bad it is out there but there not willing to do anything about it. Keep it up WV reps and all other network marking reps. At least you have a dream, don't let these looser steal yours.

I suspect there is another motive with this slamming of WV envy jealousy? competition?....Do your own proper research talk to people who are involved with the company and have been on trips and have benefited from their membership...not this nonsense...this company is skyrocketing in growth and has international membership with many many success stories.... would this happen if they are a scam?? To be honest I dont know why I am even wasting my time...as I know it is a good product and company with good people involved in it and I am all in!! I just hate to see such foul slander!

Wow..... is all that I can say, there is so much hostility here from people and especially people with WV, just that fact makes my stomach turn at the thought of entering into anything to do with them. Good and reputable businesses with integrity do not have to push things down your throat like my friend is doing. Excellent products speak for and sell themselves without having to be shoved down your throat and with out the verbal aggression and comments like... "well if you dont want to make money then that's your problem..."
What ???? Are we in grade school people or we Adults???... grow up!!! I mean I might be more inclined to really listen or join something if it was minus snake oil salesman type feel, hurry gotta do it now!!! We all miss out on lots of opportunities every day and don't see those other companies talking to me like this... Yuck, yuck yuck, NO THANK YOU!!! Maybe with all your money you can buy some grace and some integrity and some professionalism among many other things......

  65. I believe this is like working out at the gym. You get the people (with respect) who do not go to gym and do not enjoy a healthy lifestyle. They will always complain about how they look but do nothing to improve on it. I joined today...very excited... simply because I believe what you put into life is what you get out. If you believe WV will make you rich by doing nothing you are missing the pitch. Sales happen every day, the guy at the restaurant who offers you the special for the day is also a sale person. AND IT IS YOUR CHOICE IF YOU WANT IT OR NOT. When will people stop complaining about someone else trying to improve the lives of others, when last did you dare to do something that will change the world??? I am not a college degree holder but I do enjoy listening/reading about people who made it work (i.e Sir Richard Branson). People laughed at him, and he made it work, some failures in between but he made it work. Whether it is WV or Virgin Airlines it takes time and hard work.
Apologies if my spelling is wrong but English is not my first language.

  66. Great advice from a fellow World Ventures rep on how not to be scammed by World Ventures. This will stop them from hitting your credit card after you cancell their membership:

"I have heard horror stories about trying to cancel your membership. I would suggest getting a Wal-Mart Money Card for $3, verifying your address, and using that. My cancellation was simple - cut the card in half and put no more money on it. The card itself is cancelled after one month with a zero balance. If it works, great. If not, you're off the hook." http://www.419legal.org/showthread.php?t=13840&page=10&p=127727#post127727

Hmmmm....I guess I should be calling those "top high level officers" and thanking them for providing me $600 a month towards my brand new BMW I now drive thanks to WV!! ha ha ha.....you are all stupid & know nothing about what you post!!!!!
World Ventures was audited by one of the top auditing firms in the country, Earnst & Young. They came to World Ventures to go through EVERYTHING!! Since WV is revolutionizing the travel industry, they wanted to see what was going on! After they completed their full audit of World Ventures, they were so impressed with the company and its growth that they nominated the CEO for Entrepreneur of the year award!!!! Also, Rovia was just nominated AND WON the #1 Travel website by Global Travel Awards....beating out Orbitz, Travelocity, Priceline, TripAdvisor.....DO YOUR RESEARCH PEOPLE and NOT on GOOGLE!!!!! LOL There are MANY people in this business making serious money, leaving their careers and living their life LIVING!!! Its not the people at the top.....and if you want to look at that well here is a little perspective for you: Who is at the top of your company??? A CEO, who is beneath him? VP's, who is beneath them, managers, who is beneath them, employees.....SO WHO MAKES ALL THE MONEY IN YOUR ORGANIZATION???????? This applies to ANY company or organization, so therefore, nobody will EVER make more than the company CEO, ever!!! haha....In WV your income is unlimited and is always what you want to make it! I personally know many in this business making over 40,000 a month in residual income in less than 3 years!!! BEAT THAT!!!! Peace out!!
